John Butlin
Qualified Teacher of Maths & Science offering KS3 G.C.S.E. A level & SEN specialisms
John is the director and founder of In-Tuition.online. He holds a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Maths and Science as well as a Cert T.E.F.L. and completed his BSc degree at Swansea University in the late 80s; meaning he is a qualified teacher with over 30 years of classroom experience; during this time he has covered the whole spectrum of teaching; from leading an outstanding maths and science department at Tregonwell Academy in Bournemouth (a provision for children with challenging behaviour problems) to teaching science and Biology A level at Barton Peveril college in Southampton; (very much the opposite end of the spectrum). John has been a Cambridge University Teacher Trainer and Education Consultant and worked in Madagascar for 5 years where he was involved in training teachers and accrediting International schools for the British Curriculum. John has been described as a kind; patient tutor with a brilliant child centred approach to his teaching which instils confidence into even the most anxious of individuals. He has been married to Cath for 23 years and they have three school aged children.
Leo Kaper

Leo is a first year Computer Science student at the University of Bath. He achieved 4 A*s at A-level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer science, as well as 10 9s at GCSE. Inspired by some incredible A-Level teachers, he is passionate about teaching students in a way that meets their needs. Not only is his approach about remembering important facts and information, but about developing a deep understanding and intuition that can be harnessed in other subject areas as well. Between 6th form and University, Leo took a gap year to volunteer part-time as a youth worker, and to work part-time in customer service. With this experience, he is able to engage students and build their confidence so that they become proficient in Maths and Science. He is offering Maths and individual science online from KS3 through to A level further Maths at greatly reduced prices.
Cath Butlin
Qualified English Teacher offering English & Lit GCSE KS3 Functional Skills SEN
Cath holds a P.G.C.E. in English from Lancaster University and a BSC degree in Linguistics from Reading as well as a Cert T.E.F.L. In her early career she was Head of the English department in Lytham St Anne's Grammar School in Lancashire and later taught English to International Students at the Christian English Language Centre in Christchurch; Dorset. At present she is teaching Functional Skills Maths and English as well as Key Stage Three English to vulnerable children who are currently out of main stream education. She is trained in PACE and trauma informed practice and has wide experience of helping children with autism and SEMH as a foster carer and tutor. She is very compassionate and understanding of children's needs and psychology and is founder and director of www.FAMadagascar.org which is working with the government of Madagascar to change the way the country cares for its vulnerable children. Cath's vision is to see children of all nationalities supported so that they can flourish. She is passionate to ensure that children's voices are heard and that families are supported when they have needs. She is married to John and is a wonderful mother of three school aged children.
James Campbell Wynter
History & English Online. Fun Skills 11+ KS3 & GCSE
James attained A* in English, A in History and B in Politics in his A level studies which he completed last year. He is currently completing a law degree at Bristol University. James has vast experience with young people and relates particularly well to young men. At age 10 he came 3rd in the under 11s British Mountain Biking Competition and later worked as a professional squash coach. Last year James built up valuable experience by working as a mentor for an organisation offering provision for children out of main stream school and his former role as a leader of the local youth in his church means he is fully aware of the struggles and issues that young people face today. He is passionate to make a difference in young people's lives and move them onwards so they can realise their full potential. He is offering online English and History provision to any young person needing help in those areas.
Bethany Butlin
Online Maths, Comp Sci & 11+ Achieved grade 9s @ GCSE!
Beth completed her studies in Advanced Maths, Computing and Animation gaining 2 A*s and an A last year and gained nearly all grade 9s in her G.C.S.Es (1 grade 8).Beth wasn't educated in the conventional classroom setting but attended a British based online school instead. Online learning doesn't suit everyone but the smaller class sizes and ability to work from the comfort of her own home was the making of her; As a 19 year old youth worker at her local church, Beth understands the pressures that today's young people are under. When she was 11, Beth passed her 11+ and was one of only 3 pupils from her primary school to be offered a place at Grammar School. When her family moved abroad, Beth wasn't able to take up her grammar school place but she is passionate to share her knowledge and skills with other gifted and talented young people and to that end has recently found herself tutoring 11+ preparation lessons. Beth brings her extensive valuable experience as a peer group leader to In-Tuition and is a real asset as well as being a gifted primary/ key stage 3 tutor.
